Town and Country Doubles Tennis Tournament 2020

We were hoping to play this years event in late August but sadly the restrictions on running a COVID-19 event safely will make it impossible for the RTA to do this properly. Apologies to all who were ready to play but we will come back with a bang when the situation allows it.

Sad to report that this years Town and Country Doubles Tennis Tournament has been postponed to a date later in the year. The health of all is the most important issue facing the running of sports events in the coming months so as a result the May Day Long Weekend is just not the right time to run this event. Stay safe everyone and keep an eye on this fb page for more info as it comes to hand.

The 2020 tournament will be a ripper. Music, food vans, late start on Saturday and 3 days of fantastic doubles action. Start getting your teams together for the May Day long weekend. May 2nd, 3rd and 4th 2020.

Doubles tennis at Victoria Park today - Cressy Tennis Club v The Rockhampton Tennis Veterans. Vets win it 123-101 games.
