For 2022 Ka RONA Open presents the OMI CUP!
This competition will take place on SUNDAY 27TH OF MARCH.
We are looking for more A/B/C grade teams to participate with ENTRIES extended until Friday 25th March.
This time around we will be hosting the ‘OMI Cup' at Rockdale Tennis Club.
It’s time to celebrate and embrace a full day of fun, filled tennis. With the borders opening, international tourism back, and the easing of restrictions, it’s time to celebrate the freedoms of our amazing country and celebrate the sport that has given us so much during the pandemic, with a fun filled day of tennis and making connections.
EVENT DETAILS:
Round Robin ‘DOUBLES’ event with 54 teams participating on the day.
Start time: 8am
Venue: Rockdale Tennis Club (71 Chapel Street Rockdale , NSW 2216 / 9597 4000)
BBQ on site during the day and lunch will also be catered on the day.
Venue parking available.
Cost: $70 per person / $140 per team

“This is strictly a non for profit event and covers court hire, cost of balls, catering and any outgoings!’
This time around we will be looking to grade the teams so everyone has an opportunity to play against their peers! We will be hosting a “minimum” of 12 doubles teams for the following grades:
Open doubles -minimum 12 teams
A doubles - minimum 12 teams
90+ doubles -minimum 12 teams
Combined B & C grade – minimum 12 teams
On the 19th July, 2020, our inaugural event was held at Sydney Boys High and won by Hoshio Kaneko and Peter Rodriguez. The first team to hold the KaRona Cup and have their names etched in KaRona history.

Rally4ever is an organisation that raises awareness for mental health and makes a connection with the homeless by hosting cardio tennis and fitness classes. Louise Pleming the founder and CEO of the organisation is a former WTA Pro tour player, respected international Grand Slam tennis commentator and high performance coach. But more importantly, she is a passionate, dedicated and kind human that is truly inspiring!
