Risdon Brook parkrun is a FREE weekly timed 5km event for runners of all standards, which takes place every Saturday at 9am in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. Risdon Brook parkrun is FREE and open to people of all standards and ages, both as volunteers and as runners / walkers. We encourage people of every ability to take part, from those taking their first steps in running to Olympians, from juniors 5 years or older to those with decades of experience. All runners receive encouragement and enjoy being part of a community event open to all standards. Equally, our volunteer teams come from a huge variety of backgrounds and we urge everybody to get involved in organising their local events at least 3 times per year.

Spring has well and truly sprung, and what a delightful morning we had at parkrun today 😀 💯🌞

A massive thank you to our volunteers this morning, Kathy, Paul, Frank, Annie, Christie, Michael and Imogen. Thank you for your time this morning, we can't put on this safe, fun, free event each and every week without people like you donating your time. We truly appreciate it 😁💯👍

Today we had 79 participants from near and far, visiting us. Welcome to our visitors, we hope you enjoyed our course as much as we do.

We look forward to seeing you all again next Saturday 😀

👏 Well done to all 30 parkrunners who joined us this morning at Risdon Brook parkrun and braved some rather challenging conditions! Whether you walked, jogged or ran the course, congratulations to each and every one of you. 🌟

Good morning, fellow parkrunners! 🌞

Happy Friday to you all!

It gives me great pleasure to announce that we have a full complement of volunteers locked in and ready to go. Everyone is eagerly looking forward to welcoming you all to tomorrow’s parkrun event! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

The pre-run briefing will commence at approximately 8:50am, and once that’s wrapped up, we’ll get things underway! 😀🙌
