With TEMBO, there was a clear opportunity to create something that felt more grounded… more present.

The forms are fuller, more anchored. There’s a softness, but also a strength that you feel immediately. That balance is something we hadn’t explored in quite this way before.apaiserMarble played a critical role in that. It allowed us to achieve the depth, the curves, and the warmth in tone… in a way that feels very refined and enduring.

In terms of where it sits, TEMBO introduces a more expressive, sculptural direction within the collection, while still holding onto the calm and restraint that defines apaiser.

Ultimately, it’s about how it makes you feel. In many cultures, especially across parts of Asia and Africa, elephants are tied to protection and good fortune. They also represent strength, stability, calm, authority. Their presence alone carries weight, which is why they’re often used to express confidence without excess.

With TEMBO, we wanted to evoke that emotion… something that feels grounding, reassuring and lasting.
