The climbs on the Indigo Epic don't come for free, but the payoff is legendary.

​If you were grinding your way up the trails at Round 5 of the Shifty Fifty today, you know exactly what the reward feels like. We're talking —endless, flowing singletrack that lets you open up the taps and just let the bike dance. 🌲💨 Pure speed, sweeping berms, and nothing but stoked vibes all the way back to the event village. 🏁

​Massive congratulations to everyone who cracked the podium today at Round 5 of the Shifty Fifty on the legendary Indigo Epic course in Yackandandah! You battled the climbs, embraced the pain cave, and absolutely shredded that world-class singletrack.

​Whether you were fighting for the top step or just stoked to survive the grit and cross the line, the community energy out there was next level. A massive shoutout to the legends at Bridge Road Brewers for hooking the overall fastest up with some epic free time prizes today 🍻🌲 Nothing tastes better than a well-earned reward after a massive day on the pedals!

Did someone order a side of mountain fog with their singletrack today? 🌫️

​It was absolutely epic out there today for round 4 of the Shifty Fifty, the Hard Yacka, right here in Yackandandah. Breaking through that heavy mist at the top of the mountain created a surreal, still calm for all the riders before dropping back into the chaos of the descent. It’s those quiet moments in the pain cave that make the physical grind totally worth the reward! 🌲

​Whether you were smashing the long course or tackling a shorter loop for the first time, it was great to see everyone out there challenging themselves. You all brought that classic grit and energy to the trails. 🚵‍♂️🔥

​ L**e the chain, grab a feed, and get some rest, because the action doesn't stop. We are backing it up tomorrow with round 5, the Indigo Epic, staying right here in Yackandandah on Sunday 31 May! 🏁

Podium status: UNLOCKED. 🏆

The early morning drizzle tried to play mind games with us, but the Yackandandah dirt had other ideas. The trails were in absolute MINT condition today for Round 4 of the Shifty Fifty series! Massively stoked to see everyone tearing it up on the new sections of singletrack—they were riding super sweet and delivering nothing but pure flow.

A massive shoutout to every single rider who left it all out on the course, from the first-timers finding their rhythm to the absolute weapons lighting up the timing sheets. You all brought that signature gritty, high-energy vibe that makes this community unmatched.

The official results are locked in and the podium shots are looking legendary. Check out who took the top steps and see if you can spot yourself covered in regional Victorian gold.

Time to dust off the rig and call the crew because we're heading to Yackandandah for a massive double-header! We've got two days of premium Yack tracks loaded with great single track and flowing trails designed by mountain bikers for mountain bikers. Whether you're a seasoned pro chasing the podium or a first-timer ready to embrace the pain cave and earn that post-race reward, this is the gritty, fast-riding getaway you've been waiting for.

Giddy up for the Hard Yacka (Dirty Yack) on Saturday, 30 May , and back it up with the Indigo Epic on Sunday, 31 May. No Aus Cycling license is needed, and we've got courses that suit all mountain bikers. 🌲🚲
