WEMBO World 24H MTB Championship Stays in Australia for another year and heads to Mt Stromlo, ACT with a new 3 day format plus teams!

Its back to Mount Stromlo in Canberra, the Australian home of 24 hour racing and site of the 2013 WEMBO World Championships, for the 2024 WEMBO World Solo 24 Hour MTB Championships 27-29 September.

This will be the first of a 3-year set of WEMBO World Championships which will take you to what are, quite simply, the 3 best 24 hour courses in the world. Since we started WEMBO, we have had 1744 unique riders from 45 countries take part in our world championships. Now that international airfares are returning to normal, lets get both of those numbers up !

Entries will open 31 March 2024, with pit row fitouts available for hire. Keep watching here for announcements.

Coming from overseas ? Sydney or Melbourne are the obvious entry points, but also consider Brisbane if you’re planning some time on the beach.
Yes, you can fly to Canberra from Sydney - but its just as easy to drive and vehicle hire options will be better in Sydney, especially if you're after a camper van.
