Next Saturday, the Mornington Peninsula Winter Wine Festival rolls into the Red Hill Showgrounds with 38 wineries, live music, winter feasting and a few familiar Hill & Ridge favourites helping spice up the long weekend.

Another amazing market season has come to a close.

We want to say a heartfelt thank you to our stallholders - your passion, creativity and hard work make the market special. To our visitors - thank you for coming, supporting local and bringing a vibrant energy each market day. To our community - your ongoing support means everything.

The season has been filled with laughs, sunshine, smiley faces, delicious food, live music and many memorable moments such as visits from Santa and the Easter Bunny.

Thank you for being a part of it - we can’t wait to do it all again next season!

Stallholder Spotlight - Studio 87

Miranda Moye handmakes beautiful, affordable jewellery. In her Safety Beach studio, she works with opals sourced directly from Australian miners, cutting and polishing them to a brilliant lustre. She then sets them in fine gold and silver to create stunning rings. “No two pieces are the same,” says Miranda. “Each one has its own individual look, feel and personality.”

Miranda’s passion for jewellery began in high school, and her education continued under local master jewellers. For the past 10 years, she has created a wide range of pieces, including hand-cut copper drop earrings, each coated in enamel glaze and individually fired by Miranda using a blowtorch.

Miranda brings a large range of her artisan jewellery to the Hill & Ridge Community Market, where she invites those interested in her design style to work with her to create bespoke pieces for gifts and special occasions.

Kate Fenby brings new life to pre-loved clothes. Some call it upcycling. She calls it a ‘revival’ - a revival of clothes that are worn, torn or faded. Or in Aussie slang - ‘cactus’. Cactus Revival sees Kate using beautiful patches, biodegradable dyes and hand embroidery to save clothes with small, repairable tears or holes from heading to landfill.

Well April what can we say. It was huge!

A MASSIVE THANK YOU to our community and stallholders for making it so special - we are grateful to each and every one of you.

Thank you to the for a wonderful Easter Wonderland and of course our fabulous volunteers.
