Thank you all for your lovely comments. This was all Nadine’s idea! She and Nicola churned out the quilt tops then asked what it would cost to quilt them.
My reply was, “Nothing, but you have to quilt them yourself!”
Challenge accepted! Some creative and artistic quilting on the first few but they just got better and better. Nadine did most of the quilting, Nicola in charge of backings, wadding, ironing, trimming and loading quilts on the machine. Me? Overseer and coffee maker 😄
Six fun days with these amazing girls. Thoroughly enjoyed myself.
30 quilt tops quilted, bound and ready to be delivered to Mt View Homes at Booleroo Centre.
Quilt tops were made by Nadine and Nicola, quilted by the three of us. It was quite a production line and hive of activity!!
