Lots of fun and excitement for men, women and children with open-stage performances, food and market stalls and various rides from little tea cups for the children to the huge ranger for adults. Our event is open for all people of cultural backgrounds and religions. Prayers for the day are held in congregation at the Showground. MEFF is also attended by federal, state and local politicians, community leaders, imams and all in a friendly Islamic atmosphere of peace, unity and enjoyment. The annual MEFF festival has been regularly held for the last 30 years after the celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr at the end of the fasting month of Ramadan. MEFF 2025 will be celebrated on Sunday 6 April 2025 at the Fairfield Showground, Sydney, Australia. As this is the 40th MEFF since it first began, we are going to celebrate this year's MEFF with a big bang! So come down and enjoy a wonderful day filled with entertainment, food, enjoyment and spiritual atmosphere!
