Went to see Gillian Welch and David Rawlings last night.

Still recovering from how beautiful it was.

So many choir members in the audience - and when they sang The Way it Will Be - I was a puddle.

We loved sharing the stage with the ever generous and open-hearted Merpire (Rhiannon Atkinson-Howatt) at our 2025 concert.

Just listen to her voice ❤️ and then with the added magic of all the New Swell Choir voices. It’s enough to make you weak at the knees!

Photos and memories and shapes and beautiful things galore. End of year concerts, foliage abundant, and gifted flowers. And a reminder that all are welcome in this community choir!

None of these convey the sound that these two choirs make when they open their mouth’s, or the feeling in the room when they’re all doing something magical together. It’s really really special.

Choir is a weekly reminder of how good connection is, and how we’re all part of the weaving of the community fabric.

We’re excited and grateful for these choirs in 2026. Two big concerts coming up, and lots and lots of little magical moments too.
