A runway powered by community 💚♻️

Last week was the official launch of the brand new, dedicated REPATCHED shop in Fremantle, celebrating a collection created entirely from donated clothing that could not be sold, now transformed into one-of-a-kind wearable art by the incredible St Pat’s volunteers.

What made this runway even more special?

The models in this runway are volunteers from the store itself. The people behind the project became the faces of it, bringing so much personality, joy and heart to the runway.

The runway showcased how circular fashion can be expressive, playful and deeply human.

The energy in the room was magic. So many supporters, volunteers and people from across the city came together to celebrate this incredible initiative, including the Mayor of Fremantle.

Fashion can do so much more than just look good.

It can build community, create purpose and keep clothing in circulation for longer ❤️‍🔥

What happens when clothing destined for landfill gets a second chance? ♻️✨

Introducing REPATCHED, one-of-a-kind garments recreated from unsellable donated clothing by the incredible volunteers at St Pat’s.

Every piece tells a story of creativity, community and circular fashion in action.

All of the models in this runway are volunteers from the store itself, with looks curated by .au for the official launch night of the REPATCHED shop. ✨

It was such a fun night celebrating creativity, community and circular fashion alongside supporters, volunteers, good friends and the circular fashion community.

This is fashion reimagined.

This is repair, reuse and radical creativity.

REPATCHED is such an incredible initiative by and transforming unsellable donated garments into beautifully recreated pieces designed with love by their amazing volunteers.

Every item in the ever changing collection is repurposed, reused and reimagined into something completely unique, proving that fashion can be creative, circular and community driven all at once.

Even better? Every purchase helps raise funds to support people experiencing homelessness.

We’re so excited to be collaborating with them on the launch of the new REPATCHED shop and .au has styled some fun looks from the current collection (a tiny sneak peak here) that we’ll be sharing over the coming weeks!

If you haven’t visited yet, head down to 2 Market Street in Fremantle and check it out for yourself.

Sustainable fashion with heart hits differently ❤️‍🔥

This week we visited St Pat’s new store on Market St Fremantle

The store has three sections, one completely dedicated to the REPATCHED collection. REPATCHED is made up of one of a kind garments remade with purpose.

These are beautifully designed items that are made by talented volunteers from donations that cannot be sold as they are.

We interviewed some of the volunteers and We asked “WHAT IS THE IMPACT OF REPATCHED BEYOND FASHION.”

The overwhelming answer was to save items from landfill and reduce peoples reliance on fast fashion.

Head in store now at 2 Market St to shop the current collection, once these pieces are gone, they are gone forever, to be replaced with something just as cool ❤️‍🔥
