Our friend and brother, Phil Ballard, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, 25th of March, 2026, after a battle with cancer.

Phil has been an important part of Keswick for many years. He faithfully used his skills to help maintain the Camp Wattle Grove site and also served on the Keswick board. He gave generously—not only to us, but to many others—often at his own expense.

Our sympathies to his wife Meredith and their family.

Funeral details:

Wednesday, 8th of April
- 11:30am – Burial service at Bunbury Lawn Cemetery
- 1:30pm – Celebration of Phil’s life at Bunbury Church of Christ, Timperley Road, Bunbury

Afternoon tea will follow at the church.

All are welcome to attend both services.
Phil requested that colourful clothing be worn.

What an inspiring morning at Keswick Convention today! Kooky and “Uncle Kit” had the kids and the adults enthralled with their banter, as they delivered a positive message with lots of fun. And our guest preacher, Dr Steve Brady, delivered another powerful message from God’s Word.
Next session starts at 3:00pm and the final session is at 7:00pm. It’s not too late to join us at Camp Wattle Grove.
This afternoon we’ll be taking up a love offering for West Aussies who are serving cross-culturally.

Our 2026 Christian Family Convention got off to a great start last night, despite a technical hitch. Country Gospel singer Steve Grace joined the worship team and also challenged us with a song about keeping our minds focused on Jesus.
And our international guest speaker, Dr Steve Brady brought the first of a powerful series of messages entitled “Dynamic Discipleship- Journeying with Jesus “.
Lots of great fellowship and teaching lined up for today and tomorrow! And Steve Grace will present a concert at 7:30pm today.
Come on down to Camp Wattle Grove, 59 Kelvin Road, Wattle Grove to be part of the action!
