The Consular Corps of Western Australia present the World of Food Festival part of the “Experience Christmas at Government House event” on Saturday 13 & Sunday 14 December 2025. Step into a day of vibrant flavours, live cultural performances, and fun for the whole family at the stunning Government House Gardens. Proudly presented by Consular Corps WA, Lotterywest, and the City of Perth, whose supp

📣 IMPORTANT EVENT UPDATE

We regret to share that the World of Food Festival, planned for this weekend at the Government House Gardens, has been cancelled.

Government House has announced the cancellation of the entire Open Weekend due to the forecast of extreme weather, with temperatures expected to reach 40°C and possible thunderstorms. The safety of visitors, volunteers, staff, and our community remains the highest priority.

While we are deeply disappointed, we fully support this decision made in the interest of public wellbeing.

Thank you to all our participating countries, food vendors, performers, partners, and supporters who have worked so hard in preparation for the festival. Your dedication and enthusiasm mean so much, and we hope to celebrate together at a future opportunity.
