Claisebrook Cove parkrun is a FREE weekly timed 5km event for runners of all standards, which takes place every Saturday at 8am in Claisebrook Cove, East Perth, Australia. parkrun is not a race against other runners, but a 5k timed run and it can really be whatever you want it to be, whether that's for fun or as part of a training plan. It offers an opportunity for all the local community, male or

female, young or old, to come together on a regular basis to enjoy the beautiful surrounds and get physically active at the same time. We want to encourage people to jog or
run together irrespective of their ability – this event is truly open to all and best of all it really is FREE!

The volunteer roster is full and we’re all set to go for parkrun tomorrow. Just a heads up that we will be sharing the path with the UltraPerth 50k event. The athletes from this event should be nicely spread out by the time they get to the Claisebrook Cove section of the course.

As usual, keep left on the course so that we can safely share the path with all other users so everyone can have a great morning.

A special shout to the 211 enthusiastic parkrunners who turned up to Claisebrook Cove’s 692 Parkrun this morning with smiles and determination to combat the 8 degrees and completed their mission with honours!!

Thank you to our wonderful volunteers who without their service our parkrun would not have been possible namely Richard Bentley, Natalia Zuzula, Jessica Phipps, Kris Carvell, Benjamin Oatham, Tam Pinkerton, Rick Brooks, Katherine Tran, John Ellison, Tim O’Shea, Stephen Rowles, Grace Leung, Katrina Di Benedetto, Kara McPheat and Bill Brough.

We are still in need of two bar Code Scanners next weekend and pre event setup volunteers. Let us know if you can help out…

This coming Saturday 13 June 2026 we are in need of a Tail Walker, Photographer and a Volunteer Coordinator to help make sure that our parkrun event is a success. If you can help fill one of these roles then please let us know. A free Kinky Lizard coffee voucher awaits you!!

Happy Friday! As of now, it will be an interesting run this week. There is no timekeeper, no finish tokens. With no course set up and no turn around marshal. Let's stop this from happening. If you can volunteer in any of those roles to make this week happen, please reach out through the usual means and coffee and high fives will be all yours
