Fernando Zapico, a producer of timeless pieces of dance music and a mad selector and club DJ. His roots in Uruguay, a hotbed of modern dance music with a rich legacy to draw from, have certainly helped shape his sound. Now based in Europe and a resident at legendary Phonotheque and Cartulis Music (two institutions pushing electronic music forward in the Americas and Europe), he shares a deep passion for club culture and is frequently invited to play at respected clubs worldwide. We feel super honoured to be welcoming him here!

With releases on iconic labels like My Own Jupiter, Time Passages, and Cartulis, Z@p has set new standards for contemporary dance music. Whether behind the decks or in the studio, he’s a force who brings complexity and edge to every effort.

Expect extremely tight house and techno, often flecked with his unmistakable acid basslines that pull you into an immersive, otherworldly experience. His sets are a journey – this is super classy stuff not to be missed.

THIS FRIDAY 4 OCT. One of the biggest double header’s to hit Perth in a very, very long time.

DVS1. An artist at the forefront in the world of techno, he’s is a true veteran of electronic music. Most well known for releases on Klockworks & Hush, he’s been pushing his sound for nearly thirty years playing every important club across the globe meanwhile championing the preservation of club culture and tackling issues facing the electronic music scene with his initiatives Support. Organize. Sustain and Aslice. It only takes minutes of listening to one of his sets or hear him speak to know he really means business.

Pearson Sound fka Ramadanman. One of the founders of what is surely the most influential British club label of our generation – Hessle Audio. Drawing influences from around the globe and distilling them into weaponised club tracks that have been played again and again. The roster on Hessle Audio hosts a baffling number of great artists and Pearson Sound’s own releases have been some of the label’s biggest and best. His DJ sets are constantly evolving with rhythmic percussion and freakish bass that’ll make your head spin and your body move.
