What’s in a perfect race-day kit? 🚵‍♂️

Other than your race plate and the obvious essentials, make sure you’re prepared for race day with the right gear on board.

At a minimum, we recommend carrying:
▪️Water
▪️A spare tube
▪️Tyre levers
▪️A multi-tool

We also strongly recommend:
▫️Basic nutrition
▫️A small first aid kit
▫️The free Emergency+ app downloaded on your phone

Riders with any pre-existing medical conditions must carry their required medication with them at all times.

Being properly prepared helps keep your ride safe, smooth, and enjoyable out on the course. 🏁

Choose from 42km, 53km, 70km or 100km distances — plus an E-Bike category.

Camp under the stars Friday night, race Saturday, then celebrate at the after party 🍻

Paluma Social Ride #2 is on this Sunday 🚴‍♂️

📅 When: Sunday, 17 May 2026
📍 Where: Meeting point is at the Paluma Community Hall (start line of the Paluma Push), 65 Mt Spec Road, Paluma

We’re rolling out of Paluma at 9am, heading to the lake via Paluma Dam Road (17km one way). From there, we’ll split into two groups:

👊 Group 1: Ride the Paluma Dam Loop (12km)
👊 Group 2: Continue on to CP3

Both groups then regroup at the Dam before riding back to Paluma (17km return).

Please note Paluma Dam Road does have some potholes and muddy sections, so ride to conditions and stay alert along this stretch.

This ride is perfect for rookies keen to ride past the Dam to CP3, as well as those wanting to experience the Dam Loop 🙌
