Orange parkrun

Orange parkrun Orange parkrun is a free, timed 5k run and walk put on by the community for the community. parkrun is for all ages and abilities. From beginners to Olympians.

parkrun is not a race against other runners, but a 5km timed run, jog or walk. It can really be whatever you want it to be, whether that's for fun or as part of a training plan. Orange parkrun offers an opportunity for all members of our local community, male or female, young or old, to come together and get physically active in the process. We want to encourage people to walk, jog or run together irrespective of their ability – this event is truly open to all and best of all it really is FREE! Taking part is easy – just register in advance by 6pm on the Friday before your first ever parkrun event. The great thing is that you only ever need to do this once! Then just set your alarm for Saturday morning and get yourself there!

🎉 Congrats to Judith Carney on reaching her 50 parkrun milestone this morning at Orange parkrun!!!! And true to form - she volunteered again today. Along with those 50 parkruns, she's volunteered a total of 7 times already! Well done, Judith!!! 🧡 🙏 🎉

So good to have warmer weather and plenty of sunshine for Orange parkrun #454. Well done to our 218 parkrunners who made it around the summer course without any wrong turns!!!

Big thanks go today's volunteer crew Aidan, Alison, Hugh, Ian, Jenna, Judith, Kim, Lizzy, Michelle, Mila, Neil, Nick, Noah, Reuben, Richard, Sue and TJ. Great to have so much help including a couple of younger helpers and last-minute volunteers!! 🙏🧡

Spring has sprung in Orange! ☀️ 🌱 🐰 🌷

Time to get excited - we're moving to the Orange parkrun summer course starting this Saturday! More variety, more hills, more trail running, more fun! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🚶‍♀️🚶🏽

If that's not enough to tempt you - our friends from Espresso Elevato will be with us again. ☕☕ Join us at Gosling Creek Reserve this Saturday 5th September for a run or walk, and plan to stay a while. 🧡 🧡
