Our Apple Fair Silent Auction is now open online – and there are some amazing prizes up for grabs thanks to our generous local businesses and community supporters.

From dining experiences and family adventures to fitness passes, gift packs, art, and more, there’s something for everyone. Place your bids and support Ocean Grove Primary School while scoring a fantastic prize.

You’ll be seeing more Apple Fair info over the next few weeks as we gear up for our *biggest fundraiser of the year*. A significant portion of funds raised will go towards bringing *The Resilience Project*’s School Wellbeing Program to OGPS, so there’s lots happening and plenty of ways to get involved. *Jump on board and get excited 🍎*

APPLE FAIR DONATION CALLOUTS 💛

🏄‍♂️ *Second-hand surfboards & wetsuits*
We’re running a surf gear stall at the Apple Fair.

Drop-off:
📅 Friday 20 Feb
⏰ 3–4pm
📍 Out the front of the STEM room

Surfboards
• Gently used boards
• You set the price
• Apple Fair takes 30% commission (_or you can donate entire proceeds to the school_)

Wetsuits (donation)
• Good condition only
• No rips, holes or broken zips
• Great way to pass on unused suits to a good cause

We’re collecting toys for Side Show Alley prizes.
These can be dropped off any time from now on at the office/staff room (good condition please).

We are beyond grateful for the incredible support from so many businesses near and far, for making our school fundraiser a huge success! 🎉

Your generous donations played a vital role in helping us achieve amazing results, and we truly couldn’t have done it without you.

Because of your generosity and community spirit, we were able to raise a record breaking amount of money, that will now see the students of OGPS being able to enjoy a brand new playground.

On behalf of the Apple Fair Committee – THANK YOU!

Never in our Pink Lady dreams did we expect a turnout and staying power like that.

The grinning faces, the muddy shoes and the squeals of delight. Nod your head if at some stage your child uttered, “Best day ever!” or words to that effect. Mission accomplished.

Besides the big $50k smackers raised, here’s some other figures to blow your socks off:

🎟️ Over 20,000 tickets sold
🙋280 volunteers on the day (this is the official count but we know there were more!)
🏆 $17,000 raised in the Silent Auction
🍎 300 toffee apples, 288 snags and 150 sushi eaten
🍭 1.11 fairy floss sold per minute
🌧️ Lost count – the number of times we checked the forecast 😉

We have a community like no other. 💚 Each and every one of you played a massive part in this success.
