This year, there are only three crossings to access the middle of the track:

🚦Near the BKB on Minson Ave, directly in front of the Avon Mall
🚦St Joseph’s Parish Church Carpark
🚦At the end of Elizabeth Place, between Fitzgerald Street and Wellington Street

⚠️ Please be mindful: These crossings are only accessible during scheduled race breaks.

Your safety is our priority. Please follow all directions and only cross at the designated times.

Get ready for high-octane action! Racing kicks off at 9:00am, with adrenaline-pumping entertainment all day.

🍔 Food Trucks On-Site so you can refuel between races with a variety of tasty treats.

⚠️ Road Closures: Mount Ommanney Road - Gratte Street to Fernie Street will be closed during the event. Please plan accordingly.

🌟 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗹𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟱𝟬 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹!🌟

We know the excitement of the carnival can be overwhelming for some little ones, so we’ve created a Chill-Out Area. A safe, quiet space where kids can relax, recharge, and take a break from the noise and crowds.

👂 Ear Muffs Available: Keep little ears comfortable. Ear muffs will be available for purchase on site for $10.

💡 Our goal is to make the Flying 50 Carnival fun and accessible for all children, so everyone can enjoy the rides, games, and activities at their own pace.

Please be advised that over the course of the weekend, there will be multiple road closures affecting large areas, which may cause disruptions and access difficulties.

Closure Details:

𝗔𝗻𝘇𝗮𝗰 𝗗𝗮𝘆, Saturday 25/04/26: Grey Street to Beavis Place – 5:00 AM to 12:00 PM

𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 26/04/26:Fitzgerald Street (from Gairdner Street to Ensign Dale Place)
Wellington Street (from Beamish Avenue to Prince Place)
Grey Street (from Minson Avenue to Duke Street)
Gordon Street (from Fitzgerald Street to Duke Street)
Elizabeth Place (from Gordon Street to Ensign Dale Place)
Gordon Place
Beavis Place
Minson Avenue (from Grey Street to Beavis Place)
