We had an awesome time performing for the people of Sydney at events throughout December! Our favourite by far was singing at the Darling Harbour Christmas Festival in front of a huge crowd of kids and their families - the opening act for Santa Claus and Christine Anu with her daughter Zipporah. The horrific events at Bondi Beach on Sunday have undoubtedly impacted everyone in our beautiful city. Our thoughts go out to the victims, their families and to all those affected, as well as to the first-responders, law enforcement and emergency services personnel who bravely rushed in to help. As a community choir, at this time of year we are typically out on the streets of Sydney at festive events, bringing joy to audiences with our music - something we were doing even on Sunday afternoon, just before the tragic darkness fell on Bondi. Our Sydney Harmony community remains strong and resilient as we stand with the local Jewish community. We look forward to performing again for the people of Sydney in the new year.
