u up to date with the organising committee's programs towards the engagement of the communities around NSW. We are looking forward to hosting this great football event at home so we can support both Socceroos and Team Melli. What is obvious is without public support this event won't be as successful as it should, and we are looking forward to host a number of activities to engage with the Football loving fans and player from all different backgrounds especially the ones with the Iranian Heritage. So come along, contribute and enjoy the remaining time until January 2015 when the games official opening.

طبق اعلام رسانه‌های ایران، با دستور مقامات قضایی جمهوری اسلامی، اموال بیش از ۴۰۰ نفر از چهره‌هایی که آن‌ها را «حامیان دشمن» نامیده‌اند در داخل ایران مصادره شده است.

علیرضا فغانی، داور بین‌المللی فوتبال، با انتشار یک استوری در اینستاگرام در واکنش به صحبت‌های دونالد ترامپ درباره جنگ آمریکا و اسرائیل با جمهوری اسلامی نوشت: «عصر حجر یعنی هوای مازوت‌سوز سرطان‌زا، خشکسالی عمدی، تورم ساعتی و قحطی دارو.»

فغانی در ادامه استوری خود نوشت: «عصر حجر یعنی: خرید گوشت و مرغ قسطی، کشتن معترضان، تجاوز به زندانیان و پرستاران، تیر خلاص در بیمارستان، نبود اینترنت، خط فقط ۸۰ میلیون تومان.»

محسن صالحی، ایران اینترنشنال؛ جمهوری اسلامی از فضای تند جنگ برای انتقام از چهره‌های محبوب ورزشی استفاده می‌کند. جدیدترین هدف این روند، آزمون، مهاجم تیم ملی فوتبال ایران است که اکنون با موجی از حملات سازمان‌یافته، ترور شخصیت و به نوشته رسانه‌های حکومتی با توقیف اموال و اخراج از تیم ملی روبه‌رو شده است.

خبرگزاری فارس، وابسته به سپاه پاسداران، پیش‌قراول حملات علیه آزمون بود. فارس و دیگر رسانه‌های حکومتی با برجسته کردن تصاویری از دیدار آزمون با حاکم دبی، زمینه اخراج او از تیم ملی و برخورد قضایی با او را فراهم کردند.

صدا و سیمای جمهوری اسلامی نیز با ادبیاتی تند، توسط مجریانی چون محمدحسین میثاقی، این ملی‌پوش را «بی‌عقل» خطاب کرد و او را فاقد صلاحیت برای پوشیدن پیراهن ملی دانست.
