It has been almost a year since the first performance at The Chapel which of course is The Niel Black Memorial Presbyterian Church in Noorat. Here are the artists that have performed since late September 2025. Let us know who were your favourites.

The next gig The Chapel is the ChaCha 5+1 Traditional New Orleans Jazz band. Their first performance in Australia will be Noorat. This is on the 18th October . In the Noorat French Quarter there will be a coffee van and two businesses open for perusal. Georgina Conheady Miliner Studio and The Beehive's French Collection Antique Store. Both businesses will be open from 2pm to 3:30pm and doors open The Chapel at 3:30pm.
Arrive early and enjoy a stroll in the French Quarter before settling into a traditional New Orleans Jazz session nielblackmemorialpresbyterianchurch.

Traditional New Orleans jazz is an early 20th-century musical style rooted in collective improvisation, where multiple melody instruments play together at the same time, creating a rich polyphonic texture. It blends blues, ragtime, brass band marches, and African-Caribbean rhythms.
