🌟 Local shows are built on people.

The volunteer who opens the gates before sunrise. The young competitor having their first go. The family that’s been coming back for generations. The steward, judge, exhibitor, sponsor and local business that quietly helps make it all happen.

Across Queensland, our agricultural shows create a place for skills to be shared, traditions to continue and new stories to begin.

And every time you enter a competition, volunteer for a shift, sponsor an event or simply buy a ticket and turn up, you become part of that story.

That’s why local shows matter. ❤️

JOIN THE TEAM BEHIND THE NOORAT SHOW
Noorat & District Agricultural and Pastoral Society is looking for a Treasurer to join our volunteer Committee.

Our Treasurer oversees the Society’s finances, including banking, payments, reconciliations, financial reporting, and budgeting, and works with the Committee to ensure the Society remains financially strong and well-governed.

We’re looking for someone who is organised, reliable and comfortable with numbers. Previous experience as a Treasurer, bookkeeper or in finance is helpful, but training and support will be provided.
If you’d like to contribute to our community and help shape the future of the Noorat Show, we’d love to hear from you.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY 🚜
Whether you're a dad, step-dad, grandad, foster dad, or the father figure who taught you to drive a ute before you could see over the dashboard, this is a shout-out for how amazing you are.

We're just over two months out and counting until a day packed with family along with:
🐄 Prize livestock and paddock-to-plate demos
🎡 Rides and sideshows for the kids
🍔 Good food, good company
🏆 Woodchopping, dog jumping, and all the classic show-day fun

A big congratulations to Abbie, who has been a long time exhibitor at our Noorat Show...

Cobden local Abbie Hanks has returned from Queensland victorious, winning the National Dairy Young Parader title.

Abbie first started parading at the age of eight, and kept coming back due to her love for the animals.

Lots of activity around and in the Big Shed today with in full swing with lots of gorgeous alpacas on show. They are so cute and their fleece is oh so soft. Congratulations to the organisers.....it's great to see the facilities being utilised.
If you haven't been for a look, it's on all day.....there's hot food and drinks available too.
