Brisbane is in for a banger weekend. This Friday, catch The Sumfinks and more at Rockin’ the Suburbs at Gaythorne Bowls Club, presented by Mt Maria College.

Saturday is the Chrome Street Fiesta, with Rory McKenna on the lineup, plenty of food and some great workshops to jump into while you’re there.

And on Sunday, finish things off with Elke Louie as she brings her debut EP tour to the Gympie Music Hall. Big weekend ahead.

THIS SUNDAY!

Karma Police are a young four-piece band with a grunge-inspired, alt-rock, post-punk sound. Their debut
single, Getaway, has been played on Triple J’s Unearthed Radio, 4ZZZ’s Zed Digital, Triple FM Brisbane, ABC
Radio Gold Coast and ABC Radio Sunshine Coast – including two live in-studio performances.

In April 2025, Karma Police were awarded ‘Best Original Song’ at the Aura Youth Fest Battle of the Bands,
winning a recording session at Yama-Nui Recording Studio, where their first single was captured. They followed this up by taking out two further regional Battle of the Bands to cap off a big 2025.

Karma Police are Willem Brennan (vocals), Will McWha (guitar), Madison Grose (bass), and Isaac Green (drums).

Come see Karma Police at the Triffid Garden tomorrow!
