Newport was fortunate enough tonight to attend the CanToo awards night. It was wonderful to see one of our pod coaches receive the coach of the year. Well done Sam Wolf.
We are already starting to think about next season. Stay tuned for more.

The Pool to Peak team is always innovating to ensure that our swims are providing the best possible ocean swimming experience. So, recognising that people are participating in sport/exercise well into their senior years, we have created a new swim category for those over 70. We think that is actually pretty young these days & expect we will have to increase the older categories. What do you think, are you over 70 & still ocean swimming?

Organisation of the next Pool to Peak ocean swims, is now well underway and the good news is that entry fees will remain unchanged for 2027. This means we can still boast that the Pool to Peak oceanswims are the friendly affordable ocean swims.

Race report from NSW! Jayna, Catherine and Amanda braved the cold southern waters (20 degrees) in Newport on Sydney’s northern beaches last weekend. After making it past a tricky shore dump, they enjoyed a great 2km swim course (Jayna also completed the 400m option as a warm up).

We Stingers love to take advantage of any swim events while we’re travelling! Make sure to check out the Pittwater series if you’re around Sydney!
