Newkulele Festival

Newkulele Festival Newcastle's Ukulele Festival 2022 Our 5th Newkulele Festival, is scheduled for 9-11 September 2022 in Newcastle City Hall.

There will be two ticketed evening concerts, loads of wonderful workshops to register for and two days of free festival performances.

Newcastle is 160km north of Sydney via the M1 Motorway and is well serviced by both air and train transport. It is NSW’s second largest city, on a beautiful string of beaches at the mouth of the Hunter River. As well as having an historic city centre and vibrant f

oreshore, Newcastle is relatively uncrowded and only a 20 minute drive, from beautiful Lake Macquarie, Australia’s largest coastal salt water lake. Not to mention the Hunter Valley wineries!

Newcastle City Hall has excellent facilities and performing spaces for the feature concerts, community performances and workshops. There is plenty of room to hang out, beautiful gardens across the road and fabulous food close by - all in the one central city location.​
