THANK YOU šŸ’›

What an incredible day. We are so deeply grateful to every single person who came along and supported us—especially with the weather keeping us all guessing. Your presence, your smiles, and your willingness to show up made the day what it was, and we couldn’t be more thankful.

To our amazing stallholders—thank you. The time, care, and pride you put into your spaces did not go unnoticed. You brought colour, energy, and life to the event, and we are so proud to have had you be part of it.

To our sponsors—your support means everything. Quite simply, this event would not be possible without you. We are incredibly grateful and will be sharing a dedicated post to properly acknowledge each of you.

And to every single person who helped—both behind the scenes in the months leading up, and on the ground today—thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Events like this don’t just happen. They take around eight months of planning, an enormous amount of effort, and significant cost. They are powered by people who give their time, energy, and heart for the benefit of the community.

Our group may be small, but it is truly mighty. We are so proud of what we achieve together, and so grateful for those who step in to help, even outside of Rotary, simply because they believe in what this event brings. A special thank you to Oli, Caron, and Sasha for going above and beyond.

To our fellow Rotarians—this is something to be proud of. We may not be perfect, but we show up, we support one another, and we create something genuinely special for our community. And that is something worth celebrating.

See you all next year šŸā¤ļøšŸ‚

The night before always carries a mix of emotions — the excitement of finally being here, the nervous energy of refreshing the BOM forecast one too many times, and the inevitable last-minute changes that keep us on our toes.

But before tomorrow begins, we just want to pause and say a genuine, heartfelt thank you.

They say it takes a village… in our case, it takes an entire community — and what an incredible, generous, and supportive one we are so lucky to be part of.

Most people arrive on the day and enjoy the event without ever seeing the sheer scale of what goes on behind the scenes. And that’s okay — because this is why we do it. But it’s worth saying again: we are all volunteers. We juggle this alongside our jobs, our families, and our everyday lives, simply because we care deeply about our community and what this event brings to it.

To every single person who has helped us get to this point — and to those giving their time tomorrow — thank you. Truly. We could not do this without you.

A special thank you from Kylie to the organising committee — Janine, Sarah Jayne, Chris and Brett — for your countless hours, commitment, and unwavering support. And to our fellow Rotarians — Sue, Craig, Shelley, Mick, Steve, Bernie and Ros — we may be a small group, but together we achieve something pretty remarkable, time and time again. It’s something we can all be incredibly proud of.

No matter what tomorrow brings, including the weather, we are so proud — proud of this event, proud of what it represents, and most of all, proud of this amazing community we are so fortunate to support.

See you all tomorrow for a very authentically Tasmanian day šŸšŸ‚
