Results of Sunday’s events – Day 4 (and final day) of ALPINE CUTTING – Myrtleford 2026.

With an early start under everyone’s belts (a mighty effort by all), we were able to beat the rain that was looming since an amazing red sunrise
announced it was coming.

First up, Ty Fielden on This Wrae with a stirring 148 took first place in the Junior Youth, with Blair Wheatley and DUI scoring an impressive 145 to take second. The Senior Youth again signalled the strength of the future of cutting with Lachlan Randell and Spin N Metallic scoring 147 to take first place and Imogen Randell (SDP Cocoa Rey ) and Hannah Peel (Little Lena Rey) coming equal second on 144.

The remaining events – the 7500 Non Pro and the 15000 Novice were both won with excellent runs. Andrew Daly and Yugilbar Hi Kitty with 146 in the 7500NP and Trent Smith and Counterpart (148) in the 15000 Novice brought a memorable end to the Alpine Cutting -Myrtleford Show.

Huge thanks to Ryan Schiller (our announcer), Terry Burns and Grant Simon (our Judges), and Huddo (our main cattle man) for their wonderful efforts over the four days of cutting. Great Jobs done by all?!
Also a big thankyou to the ARHA committee for all the work in the background that makes a show run smoothly and a special thanks to all our cutting competitors and helpers who make the show!!
