Exhibitor Scattergories – Letter A

We have decided to play a game of Exhibitor Scatergories each month until the field days.

We’re kicking things off with the letter A, and the first A exhibitor to sign up this year was Audika Hearing Clinic.

We’re excited to have Audika joining us again for 2026, offering hearing health checks and aids. Be sure to stop by and see them during the event.

It's always great to see a mix of businesses. Our A's so far, include:
A&M Tools, Adjusta, Alarm Australia/Farm Alarm, All Things Country, Aqua Plus Filtration, Abundant Power Solutions, Ag & Earth, Armour Group, Aussie Heatwave Fireplaces, ADF Careers, Anker Innovations Pty Ltd, A Gardener’s Gift, Adapt Homes, Australian Alpaca Association, AHS Group, Aussie Retaining Suppliers, Alexander Watson, ACT Attachment Hire, Australian Bush Harvest, Andes Hot Tubs, Ashliey Designs, AEH Group, AFLEC Industrial Engineering.

That is a wrap for Volunteers Week 2026.

Volunteering looks different for everyone — a few hours, a single event, or being part of a community group. However it looks for you, this could be your year to volunteer.

Thank you to the people who make the Field Days possible, year after year.

Behind the scenes, volunteers lead the way.

The Murrumbateman Field Days is run by the Murrumbateman Community Association (MCA) — an entirely volunteer committee that plans, coordinates and delivers the event year after year.
From governance and planning to partnerships and logistics, their commitment ensures the Field Days continues to support our community.
In National Volunteers Week — Your Year to Volunteer — we proudly acknowledge the volunteers who make it all happen, long before the gates open.

Thank you for the time, care and dedication you give our community.

National Volunteers Week 2026 is here — and this year’s theme is Your Year to Volunteer.

Today we celebrate the millions of Australians who give their time to strengthen communities like ours.

Thank you to every volunteer — we know first hand that our event wouldn't be possible without you - this week is for you.

Then vs Now…
From humble beginings over 40 years ago to the Field Days we know today.

It’s amazing to see how much both the town & the Murrumbateman Field Days has grown — but at its heart, it’s still all about community.

When was your first field days?

Yesterday we headed to Parliament House to meet with Mary Aldred MP, Darren Chester MP, Kevin Hogan MP, Anne Webster MP and Tom Venning MP.
It was a particularly busy day in Parliament, and while our local member Michael McCormack MP was unable to attend due to parliamentary commitments, we sincerely appreciated the time given by those we were able to meet, as well as the support of those who couldn’t make it on the day.
It was a valuable opportunity for Murrumbateman Field Days to join with Primex and Henty Machinery Field Days in highlighting the vital role agricultural field days play in strengthening regional communities.
Field Days highlights the power of getting people together — supporting farmers, encouraging innovation, and strengthening regional and local businesses. Field days play an important role in the future of agriculture and regional Australia.
Thank you for recognising the value of agricultural field days and for supporting the work that helps regional communities and industries prosper.Association of Agricultural Field Days of Australasia

Agricultural Field Days are so important to regions like ours. There are 35 field days across Australia including Farmworld Lardner Park which was held over the weekend.

These events are critical for peer to peer support for farmers, new research and technology and small business engagement. They are critical infrastructure assets for our regions.

Thanks to Shadow Agriculture Minister Darren Chester and other Coalition Colleagues including David Batt, Anne Webster, Tom Venning and Shadow Assistant Treasurer Kevin Hogan for supporting the delegation in Canberra today.

The Government has to step up in recognising the importance of these events so we don’t lose them.
