As we come to the end of our social media contract for WTDGC24 with B Social Perth it's time to send a big thank you to the wonderful Karen Mummery. Karen is a Shire of Mundaring local who came to our awareness through her exceptional professional work with Mundaring Sporting Club, which saw a big boost in our club's social reach and 'bums on seats' at our functions.

Karen agreed to work with us on on the socials for WTDGC24 and Mundaring Sporting Club Disc Golf with the aim of helping us promote the event, and the sport of disc golf in Mundaring and the wider Perth and WA area, and to help our WTDGC24 content team share news about the event with our followers. She rose to the challenge and the results are in - a bucket load* more people around Mundaring, Perth and the world are now more aware of disc golf, Mundaring, our club and world teams! (*Karen used a lot more numbers and technical terms in her post-event report, but we think 'bucket load' applies!)

Thank you Karen for not shying away from a challenge by working with a bunch of ambitious volunteers 🙂 and additionally for putting in many hours of in-kind work, essentially thus joining our crew of volunteers as a heart and soul Mundaring Disc Golf team member. Bravo 👏👏👏

These fantastic workshops are being run in collaboration with Mundaring Sporting Club Disc Golf - Perth Western Australia and Mundaring Arts Centre, in celebration of the Flying Disc Federation - WFDF 2024 World Team Disc Golf Championships.
