The wedding industry is a chaotic space my friend, here's my 2027 update.
Being a celebrant is more then just presenting a 30minute ceremony and it's a role not for the faint hearted.
Booking out two years ahead. Missing birthdays, family events and weekends that were never really mine to keep. Working in a competitive industry where showing up isn't enough, you have to genuinely love it.
And I do. Every single bit of it.
From the moment you book me, I am in your pocket.
The late texts, the timeline questions, the "is this vow too much?" conversation at 9pm on a Tuesday, that's all part of it. And if you have no idea what you want your day to look like yet? Figuring that out together is one of my favourite parts.
Those thirty minutes in front of your guests come after a hundred hours of writing, planning and genuinely getting to know you. If this were a regular job, there'd be overtime. Weekend rates. A whole team.
That's why your ceremony isn't the place to scale back or cheap out.
I've trained in speech and drama, so when I stand up in front of your guests, I know how to hold a room. Not in a performance way. In a everyone settles, every word lands, this moment means something kind of way.
I'll never rock up looking like one of your bridesmaids but I'll be well presented, well matched and completely focused on making your ceremony feel like the most you moment of your entire wedding.
Nervous about being the centre of attention? That's my job to fix.
It's a family gig, where Lach and (maybe) Theo play your music and help with extra tasks that arise on the day.
If you want someone who is completely in your corner the entire time, I would love to be your person. Head to helenasant.com ๐
But, I'm taking very limited spots in 2027 as I lean deeply into connection with the couples I work with. There's exciting new plans for couples who book me but you'll have to wait and just trust me. ๐
And that's why i'm stepping into more of OA because of the chaotic place, wedding planning is turning into. If you're a regional vendor or business looking for a place to be seen, come find us over at Outback Aisles . We built it for you. ๐พ
