As of 5.30 pm on this day ownership of Raglan Hall was officially exchanged. This will be the last ever post.

Raglan Hall has fallen: it is with somber heart I must announce that Raglan Hall is no more. The defences held strong for as long as they could, many brave souls made the ultimate sacrifice. We honour the fallen and their sacrifice will be forever remembered.

Thus we are forced to retreat to a foreign land known to many as veektoreeahhh. There the crest of Raglan Hall will rise again like a Phoenix from the ashes... only it will look different and have another name and different stuff and everything.

Fair thee well.

Grilled Bratwurst and honey soy chicken with a salad of mixed leaves, roma tomatoes, avocado and Danish Feta.

Finished off with Raspberry and Frangipane tarts with Vanilla Ice cream and strawberry coulis.

Washed down with some Paxton Pinot Gris, a 2003 d'Arenberg Footbolt Shiraz and a Mengoba Flor de Brezo Mencia 2010 from Spain
