G'day NYE Mount Beauty followers 🎉 This is a post to say that our event is in hiatus as the organising committee (especially myself and my beautiful family) need a good old decent break from organising rippa live music, great local food and happy times on the oval 😀🎶👌 we're very proud of our 5 years of NYE nights and we thank you so much for your support 💜 if another group or business put on a community NYE night in the Upper Kiewa Valley, make sure you get behind them, take a crew with you and have a great night! Thank you everyone in our community and afar for supporting New Year's Eve at Mount Beauty United Cricket Club for the past 5 years😀 We will be taking a COVID break this year as it is too difficult for us to predict and plan for an event like ours. Our event relies on big numbers to attend, and that is just not possible for our cricket club to plan for this year. We thank our club sponsors, our event volunteers, our local caterers, major event sponsors such as Alpine Shire Council and AGL Energy, our community accommodation providers and local businesses for promoting our event, our musicians, our stage technicians Darren Hunt & Le-Anne McCraw, and community groups & businesses that generously provide resources such as Vegitation Wholesale Produce and Randell Constructions. Thank you and we’ll see you for New Year’s Eve at another time!😀🍻🥂🍕🎸🎤🌄👋

G'day - we have the makings of a great NYE tomorrow night! You can still get presale adult tickets available online until MIDNIGHT tonight at https://www.trybooking.com/560731 for $20 an adult. But if you can't decide yet, Mt Beauty Hardware & Drapery store (Hollonds St, Mt Beauty) will be selling leftover adult discount tickets tomorrow morning. G'day - planning for Mount Beauty New Year's Eve 2019 is ticking ahead nicely and our volunteers are getting excited for a great night! 😀👍 Our family friendly community fundraiser event is a ticketed event, where discounted adult presale tickets are still available at Mt Beauty Hardware & Drapery store (Hollonds St, Mt Beauty) and online at https://www.trybooking.com/560731 for $20 an adult. Youths are $5 each, and young ones 12 and under are free! If you feel like coming last minute, adult entry is available at the gate for $30 each. Thank you to Mt Beauty Hardware & Drapery for selling our presale discounted tickets for our community fundraiser event Mount Beauty New Year's Eve 2019. They have Adult tickets for $20 each. Youths are $5 and children 12 & under are free! You can also find tickets online until the 30th December at https://www.trybooking.com/560731 . Tickets will be available at the gate for the full price of $30 an adult. 15% of all ticket sales go towards Champagne Club Kiewa Valley, who assist local families and organisations in need. The rest go towards paying for event costs and to fundraise for our club's asset upgrades, such as our need for a new oval mower. Thank you! Have a great Christmas 😀🎶🥂

Unfortunately The Alpine Observer published an error in this week's edition when describing our fundraiser community event. To clarify ticketing arrangements: Children 12 and under have free entry, while Adults and Youths need to pay to enter the event. 15% of all ticket sales go to Champagne Club to assist with local families and organisations in need, with the remainder of sales used to pay for event expenses and fund sports programs and asset upgrades at Mount Beauty United Cricket Club. You can purchase discounted tickets for only $20 an adult online by 30th December at https://www.trybooking.com/560731 , or at Mt Beauty Hardware & Drapery store. Tickets can also be purchased on the night at full prices for $30 an adult. Youth tickets are $5 each. The Alpine Observer will publish an apology in next week's edition. Band Announcement #2: If you've enjoyed seeing these boys play at West Peak Hotel's Sunday Sessions, you'll be as excited as we are to announce Red Brick Radio will be bringing their full band to the AGL Power Stage for Mount Beauty New Year's Eve 2019! They are a 4 piece act out of Myrtleford with a blues/rock and folk style playing covers from the 60's to current - and original music as well. Many thanks to AGL and Alpine Shire Council for sponsoring our annual community event. NYE Band Announcement #1: Please welcome Whitedog & The Reed Man!
This duo are seasoned professional musicians and cover popular songs from the 1950’s to today with vocals, guitar and saxophone. They encourage the audience to join in the fun and are sure to have a song that you’ll know and love!
They formed in 2016 after meeting at an open mic in Albury, NSW. That year they went on to win the Albion Hotel Songwriter award and perform at Carols on the Green. They’ve been gigging together ever since. Catch them on stage at Mount Beauty New Year's Eve 2019 & stay tuned for ticketing information + more announcements 😃 🎶 🎷🎸

G'day - A quick post to say all is going really well in planning another great New Year's Eve event! We have a couple of band announcements and a new charity partnership to make soon. There will once again be great food and drinks on the oval - all local and lovely. And ticketing will stay the same prices as past years to keep it happy on the hip pocket.
