Lawrence Robert Shreve, also known as the madman from the Sudan, but better known as Abdullah The Butcher turned 85 years old on 11th January. He wrestled in Australia during 1973 and 1974. Happy Birthday to Abdullah The Butcher.

Vic Altavilla has been kind enough to share some more pictures. His dad (Luigi) worked at the Hampton court and Crest hotels at Kings Cross in the 1960's. His mum (Maria) worked at the goldfish bowl. Through their work they were able to meet many wrestlers, and become friends with them. The Altavilla flat in Kings Cross road became a hang out for some of the wrestlers. Please enjoy these great pictures.
