🎙️ “And here… in the sunlit wilderness of Montvale’s Glasshouse… we witness one of the orchestra’s more elusive inhabitants… the oboist.” - David Attenborough (probably). 🌿🎶

Notice how she stands perfectly still before releasing a rich, unmistakable call across the forest canopy - elegant, expressive, and surprisingly powerful for such a curious creature.

This rare daytime sighting was captured inside the beautiful Glass House at Montvale where Rangebow’s Chapel of Love: Baroque Botanica will soon unfold - an intimate evening of baroque music, botanical refreshments and hinterland atmosphere.

Performed by musicians from the Sunshine Coast Symphony Orchestra, the concert features beloved works by Mozart, Vivaldi, Handel and Marcello, with the oboe taking its rightful place in the spotlight.

And honestly… spotting an oboist in her natural environment? A privilege few experience. 🌿✨

You walk through the doors of the historic St Mary’s Church. The organ begins to rumble through the timber walls. Then Andrea Kirwin’s powerful gospel vocals rise through the space and suddenly the whole room is singing together. 🎵

🎨🍺 RANGEBOW’S BAD ART NIGHT - MAPLETON

At Mapleton Public House, art is made from whatever you can grab - coasters, napkins, bottle labels, and pure chaos.

Teams go head-to-head at the table: revenge portraits, questionable horses, and self-portraits with wildly inflated foreheads.

Accusations fly early. The “rules” fall apart fast. Someone is definitely calling it “artistic integrity” after bribing the judge with chips.

By the end, every table has “won,” nobody agrees on anything, and the winning piece is either accidental genius or so questionable no one can fully explain it.
