Welcome to the North Brisbane Easter Festival!

The North Brisbane Easter Festival (more efficiently referred to as “NBEF”) is an annual, FREE event hosted in Mitchelton by Youth With A Mission, Brisbane. We love to welcome the community into a family-friendly environment full of fun games, crafts, events (hello Easter egg hunt!), live music, food vendors, prizes - you name it! Our heart behind hosting this event is to create a safe, enjoyable atmosphere to celebrate one of the most joyous holidays of the year.


  • How much does it cost? The event itself is as free as can be! However, if you’re hungry, the food vendors we will have available are not free :)

  • When does it take place? Always the Friday and Saturday of Easter weekend, from 10 am to 7 pm.

  • What kind of things can I expect there? There is a little variation year to year, but things that NBEF has had in the past include: Easter egg hunts, face painting, live music, food vendors, inflatables, a petting zoo, a graffiti wall, a chai tent, a wide variety of games (many of which give you the opportunity to win a prize!)... We try to squeeze as much fun as we can into the short window of time we have!
