Time to get your woollen knitting and crochet skills back into swing or to learn some skills to be part of this years festival and to help the SACWA with their Emergency Aid.

The 2026 Clare Valley Festival of the Lamb in partnership with the SACWA Warnes Group and the Plains Producer is staging a Clare Valley knitted flock of woollen lambs and window display.

Expressions of interest are open for venues / organisations / individuals in the Clare Valley Tourism Region who would like to be part of this years Clare Valley Festival of the Lamb 23-27 Sept.

The fashion designer students have commenced working on their garments, artists have started their creations (including 4 travelling to China to develop their ceramic pieces), artisans are preparing for the Clare Valley Festival Of The Lamb/ Wool and Fibre Fair and Chefs have started considering their menus.

With 20 events confirmed over the 5 days there is still plenty of opportunity to submit an expression of interest to be part of this years festival. The EOI form can be found on the home page of our website https://cvfol.au/

3 Australian Artists have confirmed their interest in the International Art Exhibition/Exchange for this years festival and beyond. Foshan artists have started preparing for a collaboration for the 2026 Clare Valley Festival of the Lamb Art Exhibition. Festival Coordinator Simon Millcock will be meeting with the Arts Collective Clare Valley when he returns in early December to discuss the opportunities. The artists have even started on some Australian Birds.

Great night spent with Madam Zhou Fengxi Fashion Company and judge from this years TAFE SA Farm to Farm Wool Fashion Exhibition plus Alex Keynes the winner and Helen Smith the fashion exhibition coordinator. Lots of great plans being discussed for next year and beyond. Alex has been learning some of the techniques whilst in Changshu China as part of his prize.

The winning design from this years TAFE SA Farm to Fashion Woolen Fashion Design Exhibition now on display at Changshu High-tech Park Vocational School. Alex Keynes this years winner is spending time in Changshu City to expand his knowledge and what a great ambassador he is.
