urists, who enjoy a dip in these rivers. Secondly, many fisherman have had success catching Bull Sharks in the Gold Coast waterways. So we'll be providing some tips on how to catch these river monsters below:

The Nerang River and Coomera River are favored spots to catch Bull Sharks amongst local fisherman, but remember, THEY ARE EVERYWHERE. Although having a boat may be an advantage to catching Bullies, there are many places on land, which have worked very well for a lot of fisherman. Between the Isle of Capri and Casino (fishing from the bridge works well) The canal behind Pizzie Park Directly behind the Convention centre where the 3 canals meet Chevron Island bridge, great spot as there is a deep channel there. Whole Mullet or large fish heads, such as Tuna is very popular Live Trevally. Tackle:
Heavy duty 30lb+ minimum breaking strain mono line Balloon float with a 2 metre 40lb+ leader 60cm nylon coated 50lb+ metal trace 8/0 - 10/0 rounds hooks (depending on bait)
