Volunteers are such an important part of our festival!

Here are just a few of the approximately 80 volunteers who help make the festival such a friendly and welcoming experience. Quite simply, we couldn’t do it without them.

A huge thank you to the Merimbula Lions Club, Pambula Rotary, and the Down South Jazz Club, whose members generously rally together each year to assist as door volunteers.
We’re also incredibly grateful to the wonderful group of people who travel from near and far to volunteer as stage managers, coordinated by committee member Peter Cochrane.

Your time, energy, and enthusiasm help make the festival the special event it is.

One of the things that can easily go unnoticed at our festival is the incredible work done behind the scenes by our sound engineers.
These teams put in long hours to deliver world class sound for our musicians. Mixing everything from duos to big bands is challenging and requires special skill.
We are extremely thankful and grateful to all the sound guys for their hard work.
A big thank you to John McVeity and his crew at Twyford Hall, the RSL, Lakeview Hotel and Dulcies, and to David Sparks and his team at Club Sapphire. Their professionalism, expertise and top-quality equipment help our musicians sound their very best.

Thank you all for helping create the magic that our audiences and musicians enjoy throughout the festival.
