Merimbula Jazz Festival Merimbula Jazz Festival is where jazz lovers and musicians get together to enjoy the music they love. Jazz lovers adore this seaside festival!

The Merimbula Jazz Festival celebrates every June long weekend with all styles of jazz from big band, swing, modern, funk, and mainstream to traditional and ragtime. You'll get to see and hear musicians and performers from all over the country. They love meeting up on this gorgeous part of the NSW Far South Coast. There's a growing Youth Jazz Quest on Saturday night with some generous prizes. And

there's plenty to do in and around Merimbula if you're feeling all jazzed out! The Merimbula Jazz Festival was born in 1980 during an impromptu Sunday afternoon gig. The next year it began in earnest and the Merimbula Jazz Festival is now Australia's longest running jazz festival!

The festival has a new venue - Kitty's Bar located in Club Sapphire. It's an intimate space, ideal for some cool jazz, and we're putting smaller bands in here. It's just the place to sit back, sip a glass of something nice and discover Kitty's Asian fusion menu.

Thank you to Dulcie's Cottage for their wonderful support of the Merimbula Jazz Festival!

Dulcie’s will be hosting live bands on Friday and Saturday evenings, plus a fantastic Sunday session from 1pm–9pm. It’s the perfect place to relax, catch up with friends, and enjoy some incredible live jazz across the festival weekend.

Our website is now back up and running (thank goodness!) after our hosting server at GoDaddy had issues.

GoDaddy ISSUES ON OUR WEBSITE
Our apologies to everyone trying to look at the draft program on our website. Unfortunately our website hosting service GoDaddy is having problems and has been having problems since Friday, when we first contacted them.
Sadly they did not admit this until this morning.
We are trying to work with GoDaddy to bring the site up again. You may see GoDaddy messages when you try to access certain pages.
If you feel frustrated, I'm sure you can only imagine what we are feeling!
We are currently working through a number of change requests on the draft program.
In the absence of a stable MJF GoDaddy hosted website , we will use the Down South Jazz Club's site to post our final program as well as here on Facebook/Instagram and via our newsletter (available to those who have subscribed).
We will of course let you know what transpires and how to access the final program as soon as it is ready.

A huge thank you to Pambula & District Community Bank for their proud and ongoing support of the Merimbula Jazz Festival Jazz Quest program!
Now in its 14th year, Jazz Quest gives young musicians aged 25 and under the opportunity to step onto the stage and showcase their talent.
Thanks to the wonderful support of Pambula & District Community Bank we’re able to continue growing this important youth music initiative and encourage the next generation of jazz performers.
Jazz Quest 2026 will feature 22 outstanding young musicians performing at the Merimbula RSL Club on Sunday from 2pm–5pm. Ccme along and support these amazing emerging artists!
