Today we stand with our LGBTIQA+SB communities for IDAHOBIT Day.

The International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersex Discrimination and Transphobia marks the date homosexuality was removed from the World Health Organization’s Classification of Diseases in 1990.

More than three decades later, discrimination and prejudice still impact q***r communities every day. IDAHOBIT is a reminder that visibility, allyship, safety and inclusion matter, not just today, but every day.

At Oz Kink Fest, we celebrate freedom of expression, diversity, identity and community. Our spaces exist because generations before us fought to be seen, heard and accepted.

The work is not done, and neither are we.

Whether you show up loudly or quietly, your support matters.

CLINICAL INTAKE UNIT: OPEN WARD
Provocation is proud to present the Clinical Intake Unit – an open ward medical play pop-up at our Intensive Care event

Treatments on offer:
Self-assessment Station: full body inspection with one of our friendly staff – assessed by YOU – complimented (or critiqued) by us.

Pre-Play Physical: including full check of all vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, blood sugar, and neurological systems

Sensory Assessment: reflex check, erogenous zone mapping, tickle identification, nervous system regulation, and pain management.

Invasive Procedures: bloodletting and blood collection service, skin swabs and scrapings, stapling, urine analysis, sub-cutaneous hydration injections, and limited opportunity for indwelling urine catheters

Bandaging, Taping, and Binding: play-specific bandaging and tape to create an extra layer of medical mess to your scene, or simply enhance your outfit.

Aftercare Assistance: we provide blankies, cookies, and electrolytes to patients in our care while administering basic health checks, including vital signs and post-play reflex testing.

Celebrating real people, real artistry

This month’s event artwork continues our commitment to working directly with people from within our kink community to create the imagery that represents us.

Rather than using stock images or AI-generated content, we collaborated with real models, performers and creatives from our community. Every participant in this shoot was paid for their time, skill and contribution, because we believe that investing in the people who make up our community is central to building a strong and sustainable scene.

The intention behind this image is to highlight the breadth and diversity within our community across bodies, identities, expressions and styles.
Our events are made up of many voices and many aesthetics, and our visual identity should reflect that.

We’ve also taken on board the lessons from past experiences and made a clear commitment to no longer use AI-generated imagery. While AI can produce striking visuals, it doesn’t support the artists, performers and makers who form the heart of our culture.
We want to put our energy and resources into collaborating with real people and celebrating the creativity and individuality that makes our community unique.
