Pop Culture Theatre Inc. Pop Culture Theatre - or PCT - is an award winning, Melbourne-based theatre company taking one act plays on tour through the VDL Theatre Festival circuit.

Pop Culture Theatre or PCT as it's fondly called by its members is a boutique theatre company based in Bayswater. We like to be a little bit different and look for plays that deal with modern issues, often using characters from popular culture, but without the stuffy pomp and circumstance of older pieces which may have lost their social and cultural impact over hundreds of years. Some of our plots have included disillusioned assassins, an agnostic PR agent turned angel, a sexy, comedic trip through the Seven Deadly Sins, a creepy kid who makes her kidnapper think twice, an aging rock star & his long lost daughter, a love causing fountain & an example of how to put on a play PCT style.
