A huge thank you to everyone who braved the weather to join us, we loved having you there and truly appreciate your support!

And to our incredible festival committee and family volunteers… this simply wouldn’t happen without you. 💛 We’ll have a little rest and come back with a fun wrap up video next week.

The Fletchers Yarra Ranges Main Stage at the Kalorama Chestnut Festival is set to keep things humming all day long.

For over a century, chestnuts have thrived in our cool-climate regions, shaped by misty hills, fertile soil, warm summers, and crisp winters. From the Dandenong Ranges to Macedon, it’s the kind of environment these autumn favourites love.

And for us, it’s even closer to home.

Every chestnut you’ll find at the Kalorama Chestnut Festival is picked right here in the Dandenongs, by hand, by our incredible community of school and kinder volunteers. 💛

Whether you’re lining up for a bag of fire-roasted goodness or taking some home to cook yourself, you’re enjoying cheastnuts at their freshest... local, seasonal, and full of flavour.

We’ll see you on Sunday, 3 May… ready to go, just a little bit nuts for chestnuts? 🔥🌰

From our incredible volunteers, parents, carers, educators, and community members, who give their time so generously… to the many people working quietly behind the scenes to make it all happen.
