We couldn't have chosen a better celebrant than John for our wedding.

John was extremely approachable and friendly, and from the moment I met him at the Melbourne wedding expo, I knew he was the right fit for us.

John made the entire process seamless and super comfortable.

Although a decent trip for John to be a part of our wedding, this wasn't a hassle and at no point were we made to feel that the distance was a problem.

It was our pleasure to share our special day with John as our celebrant. We were novices and he was very experienced. He found him to be affable and available. His ideas were brilliant in helping us build a base of wants and want nots for our wedding. He was very clear on the legal requirements, what has worked well in the past and what could be incorporated into each section of the ceremony. His special blue book of ideas, verses and readings was invaluable to our planning. He was thorough, prepared and had back up plans for all of the common things that try to go wrong. We highly recommend him as a celebrant and a guiding light for your own special day.

We first met John at the bridal expo and John stood out from other celebrants due to his warm nature and his obvious love of celebrating peoples love.
He captured my heart when he personalized every couples love story and I knew that would be perfect for us.
John is a kind, loving and easy to talk to soul, he is great just for a chat.

From the first meeting we felt at ease and confident our journey would go smoothly, as I have dreamed of, thus putting our minds at ease.
John was very helpful during the many challenges that included choosing the venue and was very accommodating with coming up with other plans.
John made it clear that he was available to help no matter the question, big or small.

John is very invested in being a celebrant and by using his questionnaire he is able to get to the heart of our love story.
This was born out in the most beautiful love story during the ceremony.
His questionnaire actually allowed us to relive past experiences and encouraged a walk down memory lane.

Despite the bride being 35 minutes late, storm clouds worrying us in the lead up and stress of getting married, John was a cool, calm, beautiful spirit who helped make the day perfect. The ceremony went to plan and we are so lucky to have a love story to relive on our anniversaries.

Billy and I just wanted to thank John, our wedding celebrant, so much for the care he took in making sure our day was super special.
We first met John at a wedding expo and straight away knew that John shared the same values towards marriage as we did. It was also a pleasure meeting his lovely wife Judy and hearing about their marriage of over 50 years.
John was extremely thorough throughout the whole journey and was always so generous with his time. John always made us feel so at ease with everything and was always available to answer any question we had.
The ceremony was absolutely beautiful and we could not have dreamed of a more perfect day.

I, along with my two best friends, first met John at a wedding expo in Melbourne in 2015. My best friend Catherine had asked my other best friend, Jordyn, and I to be bridesmaids in her wedding, so off we went to check out the expo and what it had to offer. We bumped into John at his stall, who greeted us with a warm, friendly smile. After chatting with John and each taking his card (even though I was single at the time), Catherine made the decision to ask John to be her celebrant. Fast forward a couple of years, Jordyn followed suit, with John also performing her wedding. Throughout the preparation for both weddings, John affectionately named us three girls “the triplets”, and became a very dear friend to us all. So, when it finally became my turn to get married, there was absolutely no questioning who should be our celebrant, none other than the lovely John Huntington. I couldn’t bare to think of anyone else marrying us.
John has always been so easy going and flexible to work with. He always approaches his work with enthusiasm, warmth and passion and treats your special day like he would his own. Nothing was ever a bother for John, he was always happy to take phone calls to answer questions, make as many changes as necessary or travel to Ballarat if needed, even at short notice. John has always been thorough and is clearly passionate about helping people achieve the wedding of their dreams. But aside from his work, John is also a genuine, caring man who offers his friendship and support in times of need. Following the passing of my father, John kindly phoned me to send his thoughts and condolences, and offer some comforting words. John was so gracious and sensitive when it came time to make some changes to our ceremony in acknowledging Dad’s passing, and I could not be more grateful for John’s thoughtfulness and care in doing so.

From the first moment we met John we knew he would be perfect for our big day. He was approachable and open minded.
As we started our planning journey together, John always went above and beyond to give us a personalized experience, such as regularly driving out to meet us in Geelong at no additional cost.
At times we forgot he was our celebrant as his presence felt like family. Always well prepared, thorough and great with communication. Nothing seemed too much for John. He listened to and encouraged our feedback, ensuring he tailored our love story to us.

The day we met John was a glorious Saturday afternoon at the Melbourne bridal expo. He had just taken a bite of his lunch so I said I would come back.
John wouldn't hear of it and from that very moment John was putting us first.
We chatted for around 15 minutes and we invited John to our home in Cranbourne North to hear more about his services.
We already knew he was the man to marry us, he had us laughing and it felt like John had been in our lives for years.
NOTHING was ever too much for John and it's still not! 5 months on, if I need anything or have any questions I know he is a phone call away!
John took the lead and told me exactly what was needed of us and when.
