How can you directly support the arts, and new literary voices, this EOFY?

By supporting EWF this EOFY, you're able to directly affect the lives of hundreds of working artists and writers across the continent, with one tax-deductible donation!

All tax-deductible donations we receive this end of financial year, as with every year, go directly back into our festival. For example, we have been able to raise our workshop fees by $100 per artist in the last year thanks to the generosity of our community! We're hoping to raise that number again this year. With your help, we can make it happen.

From now until 30 June 2026, any donation over $2 made to EWF is tax-deductible this year!

We want to make working as a writer and artist viable. With your help, we can continue to increase our artist pay & help more writers pursue their craft seriously, towards a career.

Any one-off or ongoing amount makes a huge difference to what we can do at the Emerging Writers' Festival. Even just ten people donating $15 each averages one emerging writer getting commissioned to produce a new creative work for the festival, and getting the chance to form community with other new and developing creatives at EWF26.

Thanks to the generosity of our community, we have been able to raise our workshop fees by $100 per artist in the last year! We're hoping to raise that number again this year, and with your help we can make it happen.

Thanks to the generosity of our community, we have been able to raise our workshop fees by $100 per artist in the last year!
