👯‍♂ Irish Dancing Competition kicks off at 11am
🐾 Dog Show Starts at 12pm
🎸 LIVE music from 1pm

And the most important part... the Black Stuff will be flowing all day at the beer garden (for adults only)!🍻

Did you know... the first Irish dancers didn’t get trophies, but instead got cake?

In the 18th century, "Cake Dances" were the ultimate St. Patrick’s Day tradition. A large cake (often a barmbrack) was placed on a pedestal in the center of a field or pub, and dancers would compete to see who had the best steps. The winner literally "took the cake," which is where that famous saying actually comes from!
