Underground Sounds is aimed at bringing together liked minded people in the music industry with a vast array of performers showcasing their musical talents & instruments every week. Prior bookings are encouraged, although walk-ins are scheduled subject to availability on the night. It's that time of year again folks, Xmas is upon us!

This Thursday the 22nd will be Underground Sounds final show of the year and will feature a special, handpicked line-up of insanely talented, local artists!

It's been a busy but rewarding year with lots of changes including a change of venue (Little Red Pocket to Marrakech) and banner change (Live Raw to Underground Sounds). Throughout the year we've seen new artists discovered, new friendships made and fun times had.

Thanks to all those artists who've played, Marrakech for hosting us, the team of Frank Deak and Amanda Bier for doing such a great job, working tirelessly in the background and all those who've supported us over the journey.

Folks, we have only 2 shows to go until Underground Sounds wraps up for the year!

Next week will be our final week in a special Xmas edition with a hand-picked line-up of some of the best local artists! Stay tuned!

After a slow start to the day, weather-wise, the sun is out in force again and there are no excuses not to attend tonight's amazing Underground Sounds!

Kicking off at 7pm we have another STELLA line-up amidst the beautifully ambient vibes of Marrakech, the buzz of excitement that is Christmas and the awesome drink specials on offer.

Here is the beautiful, Amanda J Bier Music performing a stirring rendition of London Grammar's, 'Shyer', for the launch of Underground Sounds at Marrakech Bar - Nightclub.

Filming credit once again to The Backline Project for doing such a great job with the video. These guys are working tirelessly in the background to ensure every artist receives the exposure they deserve with a top-notch, premium quality video clip.

The awesome team at The Backline Project will also be down to film the night as a collaborative effort with the Underground Sounds team! Artists, it is well worth your while to come down!

Our second artist to be featured by The Backline Project from our launch a few weeks ago, this is Cam Bird singing his original, 'No Angel'.

Cam's vocals range from gritty to soaring with a raw, rock sensibility that echoes back to the sounds System of a Down, Metallica and Creed.

These are the quality of artists that perform on the Underground Sounds stage at Marrakech Bar - Nightclub. We are taking bookings for this Thursday! Come down and get in on the action! We don't bite :)

Last Thursday's Underground Sounds launch went off with a BANG at Marrakech Bar - Nightclub!

Thanks especially to all of our artists who performed, The Backline Project for filming the night and all of you, the live music lovers, who came down to bask in the warm glow of the musical entertainment!

This is the first video in a series that we will keep uploading in the coming days. Pia Nesvara is 1/3 of the soulful trio, Spiritus, but was on hand to perform a solo set as our opening act last Thursday night. Credit once again to The Backline Project for doing such a great job with the video. Enjoy!
