Blacksmiths Festival Association Inc. The Blacksmiths Festival Association Inc. Next festival 17-18 May 2025. The purposes of the Association are as follows:
1.

is a charity established in 2014 to organise and run a blacksmithing and metal art community festival in Footscray Melbourne. To organise and run a blacksmithing and metal art festival which encourages fellowship within the local Australian and International blacksmithing and metal artist community.
2. To hold a metal art sculpture challenge in conjunction with the festival.
3. To promote contempo

rary artistic blacksmithing.
4. To encourage the sharing of ideas and collaboration between blacksmiths, metal artists and the local community.

Few fun games for our mini-fest in two weeks! Come down to the river on November 30th and throw our (new and improved) chainmail sacks custom made by for the co****le, piff a piece of wood at Fiery Finska, test your skills on latest creation and twist some metal on the Twisting Jig PLUS Kidsmithing is back and a refurbed Paddy Whacker! Oh and a bit of giant Jenga for good measure.

Mates! Can’t believe this is getting so close to completion!! Special thanks to Sam for getting grubby…shame about your keys that lay at the bottom of the hole 🤦🏼‍♀️ concrete pour done ✔️ welding done ✔️ MEGA MEGA thank you to Jinks of Custom Steelworks for all of the in-kind welding he’s offered us. Unbelievably kind of him, what a superstar. Xx

Test run of the cages! Just as well we did because we need to keep on digging! Concrete is pouring this Wednesday!!
