We’re out to demystify the winemaking process by bringing good people together over great wine, food and music to learn about, taste and create wine in an urban environment.

Noisy Ritual started in 2014 when we found a concrete wine fermenter under Cam’s house. We organised half a tonne of premium shiraz grapes and invited some mates around to help us stomp them. Word spread, and over the coming weeks we guided a whole bunch of people through some low-tech urban winemaking. And everyone loved the wine. Noisy Ritual was born. We’ve now moved out of Cam’s basement, but we’re still out to demystify the winemaking process by bringing good people together over great wine, food and music to learn about, taste and create wine
in the city. Our wine embodies all we stand for. It’s made by hand in our East Brunswick winery with lots of love and plenty of help from our rowdy community of winemaking members. We hope it’s as fun to drink as it was to make.

LAST DRINKS

We’ll be sending the place off in style by bringing some of our favourite things together for one last ride! Some of our oldest mates who’ve been a part of the NR story from waaaay back in the day making wine in their un**es under Cams house will be there playing tunes (Lauren and Simon and Fee B2 from RRR), and it’ll be so great to have our long time mates Taco Truck parked out the front again, onya Raph.

If you’ve been a part of Noisy Ritual in some way, we’d love to see you there to hug it out one last time.

No bookings, just roll up.

Blessed with the sun again, thank you Melbourne 🌞

🍷 2020 Bendigo Shiraz best in show today.

Hefty percentage of new French oak helps tame the punchy leanings of this grape, and is the first thing you'll notice when you get your nose stuck into a glass. Subtle vanilla, and a wee bit of cinnamon give way to nice rounded stewed plums and a tickle of peppery spice.

On the palate, fruits of the forest, a touch of eucalyptus and lashings of grippy tannins that'll stick with you for days.

Bloody love this wine.

🌞 2022 Mildura Sagrantino - pretty much the perfect red for this autumn sunshine.

🍷 Umbria via Mildura, this central Italian variety is a bit of a rarity around this neck of the woods.

Aromas of tropical flowers, dark berries, and aniseed spice give way to a touch of black olive, blood plum, a sprinkling of plack pepper and heaps of macerated dark fruits on the palate.

A nice touch of lifted acid keeps this Sagrantino right in the medium-full bodied department, with some firm tannins to round out the show. Perfecto with charcuterie and enjoyable in all the weather ever.

🍷 Bloody missing that picnic weather right now, but worry not! We've got you some sunshine in a bottle.

This Tempranillo brings lashings of bright wild strawberry and dried fig on the nose, zippy flavours of cherry, blackberry and plums, with some supple tannins that just won't quit.

We reckon we're getting a touch of to***co as this baby ages. Pop down, have a glass and see what you make of it!
