The first 3rd of 2022 is already jam packed with strongman action, and things are about to go up yet
another gear.
While the world continues to sort itself out, we too will continue to adapt and provide as many
opportunities to compete as possible for our sport.
We have tweaked the format we had planned for 2021 (you know, cos it all got tipped on its head
AGAIN), and once again are excited to announce the Fitfest Championships in April 2022, at the
Melbourne Exhibition Centre.
The events will remain largely the same as we had planned, with some modifications, and they are
getting heavier.
We have confirmed the event will be a qualification pathway to Arnolds Ohio 2023 the following
year, more info to come
For the first, and possibly only, time, we are overlooking the qualification process to enter.
We appreciate the effort and time put in by athletes and promotors at the comps that could successfully
be run this year, but with over half of them being cancelled, we felt it was unreasonable to try and
cram them all into summer 2022, AND then prep for the show itself. Anyone can enter, but once
events and weights are announced, give it some good honest thought on weather you are ready to
be there and be competitive.
You will need to be an AS or Cabal Delta/Omega member to compete.
Let’s make this a celebration of being able to attend an expo again, we have lots of surprises and
cool stuff planned for the event, you know us, we don’t half-arse it ;)
