Grapplers Unite ❤️

This Saturday, 19th August, there will be 4 Black belt head coaches from different gyms coming together to run an amazing seminar for a great cause at Ako Martial Arts.

We will be aiming to raise funds for fellow grappler and black belt Icaro Marques and his family after he was diagnosed with sarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer.

Pasha Stolyar, Steve Wade, Tyrone Coppedge, and our head coach Robbie Paraha will be running gi and nogi workshops from 10am to 1pm followed by an open mat. We will also have food and drink available on the day.

Let’s come together to support Icaro in his fight against cancer. Your contributions will make an enormous difference.

Had an awesome day training with some of our friends from Robinson Jiujitsu in Benalla. Thank you to Craig for organizing to catch up and donate to the “Help Icaro Beat Cancer Fund”. Approximately 70 Jiu Jitsu gyms around the country came together today in holding seminars to raise funds to assist Icaro in participating in clinical trials over in the U.S. We raised approximately $900 from our two clubs and had a ball doing Jiujitsu.
